About us
We believe family comes first and we want to help other mums find quality time with their kids among a busy schedule. Of course family activities are a part of this, but we have found there is something particularly impactful when a child engages in an activity just for them & Mum. Enjoy a stress-free environment to make memories with your daughter that will last a lifetime, while learning and meeting other Mums&Daughters.
Who we are
We are a team of mums and youth volunteers who are passionate about sharing the joy of quality family time, especially in the context of cooking. Inspired by the message of Opus Dei — that everyone can find God in their everyday lives — we have created Mums&Daughters to share not only easy, healthy recipes, but also to pass on the role of family values and traditions in the context of cooking and beyond.
Mums&Daughters collaborates with other initiatives in Ireland that share in the same vision: Hearts+Minds (for women of all ages) and Fearless (for teens).
Our values
At Mums & Daughters, we support family values and social outreach to help address the needs of others who are more vulnerable.
As a consequence of this, every so often our sessions include a fundraiser for, or collaboration with, local Irish Charities such as those involved in supporting children in need, older people or homelessness. All our participants have found this very rewarding and we take pride in giving children an opportunity to help others and foster social awareness in our society.
